Alvaro Uribe responds Correa on Twitter
The former president of Colombia, Alvaro Uribe, replied via twitter the challenges of the Ecuadorian president, Rafael Correa.
Correa stated in a tweet that he will submit himself to the polygraph (and thus undermine the alleged links he has with Las FARC) as long as Uribe also be referred to the same system to confirm or deny his links with paramilitaries and drug traffickers.
Uribe tweeted: (@AlvaroUribeVel) “President Correa submitted the polygraph with his praise for the FARC terrorists.”
Uribe’s response came following the first official visit of the current president of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos, to Ecuador, which was primarily intended to restore relations between the two countries since the attacks in Angostura in March 2008.
Meanwhile, on Twitter Ernesto Macias Tobar, former close aide to Uribe, called Santos “Judas”, for not having defended Uribe during his visit to Quito.
