Nature in the Alvaro Noboa III International Painting Biennial of Guayaquil

“The elements of nature” is this year’s theme of Alvaro Noboa’s Third International Painting Biennial of Guayaquil.

The Museum Luis A. Noboa Naranjo is calling for national and international artists to sign their works and participate in the Biennial, to be held from April 4 to May 5, 2012.

“The technique of the participant paintings shall be oil or acrylic on canvas, the format should not exceed 1.50 x 1.50 m, with a minimum of 0.80 x 0.60 m. The rights in the winning artworks will go to the museum and should not be sent with price, since it is a competition,” the museum informed in a press release.

The first Grand Prix Alvaro Noboa Acquisition, will be $ 10,000, the second $ 5,000, and five revelation awards of $ 1,000 each will also be given.
