The Association of Municipalities of Ecuador (AME) installed its first office for technical advice, which contributes to the fulfillment of the new management model that the institution has announced.
It is planned to place these facilities in several cities which accommodate municipalities of the same region or area.
Its President and Mayor of Yaguachi, Daniel Avecilla, signed an agreement with his counterpart of Santo Domingo, Víctor Manuel Quirola, to let the AME use a space in the municipality where will be the office in which three technicians will give advice in financial, environmental, cadastral issues and others.
A major topic to be discussed will be the land registry. “We are being very demanded by the State Bank on cadastral updating”, noted Avecilla.
