Two dresses of the late British singer Amy Winehouse were stolen from his home when they were to be auctioned.
The gowns disappeared from the famous neighborhood of Camden in London. She used one of the stolen dresses the day of her marriage.
“A lot of clothing and other items were left (at home) and were still being labeled, when someone realized that the two dresses were missing,” a witness said. “They were going to the foundation, but someone may be trying to sell them for their own benefit.”
The white minidress with heart-shaped neckline and red anchor, was used by the late singer for her marriage with Blake Fielder-Civil in Miami, in 2006, and could have been auctioned for a price of $ 160,000. The other dress was a retro model with newspaper pattern that she wore for a live performance at the BBC, with an estimated price of $ 48,000.
