An artistic event was held to have a cultural center in Montañita

‘El Llamado’ is the name of the cultural, artistic and charitable event that took place at the Cayena Beach hotel in Montañita, on the Ruta del Spondylus.
The culture and art were on a table adorned with flowers and fruits where there were traditional foods like mature chicken, cassava drums, dark green, and drinks like cinnamon.
There was an exhibition of acrylic paint, music and dance. The purpose of the event, one of the many that will be developed, is to raise funds for the adaptation and reactivation of the acoustic shell, located at the tip of Montañita.
The project, which is promoted by the Commission of Art, Culture and Identity of Montañita and brings together commoners and non-comuneros and foreigners, provides for the realization of the Cultural Center and the Arts of the population.
In this site, according to the projections, the private company and community will promote conservation talks, cultural exchanges, concerts, exhibitions, fairs and a variety of activities to offer tourists.
During ‘El Llamado’, there was the exhibition of tissue in coconut palm, sculpture in dry palm and the presentation of children that make up the project ‘Mingas por el mar’.
The use of churo was one of the main elements of the event, as well as a purification with palo santo.
