Anti-narcotics operative seize small plane with drugs

Jose Serrano, Minister of Interior reported that after the police operation carried out on Ayangue, it was retained a light aircraft carrying 500 packages of cocaine which were confiscated and nine people were arrested, including two Mexican men.

Through his twitter account he said that the drug operation was conducted in the town located in the province of Santa Elena.

Yaguachi and Guayaquil, which belong to the provinces of Guayas and Santa Elena, respectively,  were the points where the Counter-narcotics operation was performed, as  informed the Attorney General.

The organism did not disclose details of how the plane was detained neither the total weight of the seized drugs.
