Antonio Noboa officially presented Juan Carlos Paredes
During a press conference held yesterday at the Monumental stadium, the president of Barcelona Sporting Club, Antonio Noboa, presented the new reinforcement for the soccer club, Juan Carlos Paredes.
Noboa also confirmed striker Cristian Penilla, midfielder Freddy Olivo, goalkeeper John Jaramillo and left side player Pedro Pablo Velasco, as signings for 2013.
Barcelona’s president declined to give details about the exit of some players until they carry out an “audit” with Coach Gustavo Costas. Jose Doumet, president of the Barcelona’s Soccer commission , said that after the evaluation of Coach Costas, there will be more foreign reinforcement bookings.
So far, the club only renewed the contract of Argentinean midfielder Damian Diaz; is still analyzing the continuity of Colombian Jose Amaya, Peruvian Renzo Revoredo and Argentinean striker Juan Carlos Ferreyra. About Michael Arroyo, Noboa said they are making efforts to keep the midfielder in the team.
There are rumors about signing Martin Cauteruccio (Uruguay) and Claudio Bieler (nationalized player of Liga de Quito) to replace the scorer Narciso Mina.
