Antonio Valencia does not feel well with his level

Antonio Valencia, Ecuadorian midfielder of Manchester United, admitted that the injuries suffered during this season have prevented him from reaching his highest level.

“The Physical problems have conditioned me a bit, I still feel a twinge occasionally, and that has, perhaps, affected  my progress this season,” added the winger of the star English team.

Valencia, who was signed by the Red Devils in 2009, also referred to the elimination before Real Madrid at Old Trafford Stadium, on the second round of the Champions League.

“There were positive things that the match with Real Madrid left us, despite the result. I don’t see it as something negative, we all know that there were certain things that impacted on the result, things that tend to occur. Soccer’s ups and downs. The most important thing is that we keep our heads high to address every challenge to come”.

Toño, of 27 years old, revealed that the United has “a huge desire” to achieve the 2012-2013 Premier League title. “We couldn’t be more determined. Every match is a final. We must fight every minute. We don’t want to repeat what happened last season”.

Of the 29 matches of the Premier League Antonio Valencia started in the line-up in 17 matches. And in four times he entered as a substitute.
