Apple Accepts Red Cross Donations To Help Japan
Many companies and personalities are eager to help Japan in its after natural disasters crisis. Apple has the initiative to help the Asian country by accepting donations to the American Red Cross’ Japan earthquake and tsunami relief fund through its iTunes Store.
“Your gift to the American Red Cross will support our disaster relief efforts to help those affected by the earthquake in Japan and tsunami throughout the Pacific,” the iTunes listing says. “Your support will enable the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, emotional support and other assistance to victims of all disasters. On those rare occasions when donations exceed American Red Cross expenses for a specific disaster, contributions are used to prepare for and serve victims of other disasters.”
People can donate amounts of $5, $10, $25, $50, $100 and $200. 100% of donations will be given to the Red Cross.
