The Cambridge University has invited the founder of Wikileaks and refugee at the Ecuadorian Embassy of London, Julian Assange, to participate in a discussion via video conference, on Nov. 27.

The Cambridge Union Society (CUS) informed about the debate, which topic has not been specified, and will only be opened to invited members.

Austin Mahler, CUS president, told the Cambridge News that the role of the association is to “promote freedom of expression” and allow members to “explore ideas and ask difficult questions to the world’s most prominent people.” (MZ)
