LONDON, England

Great Britain today ordered nine supporters of Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange, the payment of thousands of pounds of the Australian’s bail due to the violation of his house arrest.

Assange, 41, violated the conditions when he ceased to report daily in a police station after seeking refuge in the Embassy of Ecuador in London.

Chief Magistrate, Howard Riddle, has ordered the payment of 93,500 pounds ($ 150,000) on November 6.

The nine supporters argue that they should not be sanctioned by Assange’s diplomatic asylum. (MZ)
