Political Movement Creando Oportunidades (CREO) presented yesterday Auki Tituaña Males as the political binomial for presidential candidate, Guillermo Lasso for the upcoming 2013 elections.

Tituaña, an indigenous Quechua from Imbabura, is an expert on issues of decentralization, was leader of the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador (CONAIE) and Cotacachi mayor from 1996 to 2009.

Also, Movement CREO announced their candidates for national and provincial assembly members and the Andean Parliament.

The list for national assembly is led by former constituent Mae Montaño, who is also vice president of CREO, the entrepreneur Patricio Donoso and former judge Ana Abril.

Among the list for provincial assembly members are Leonardo Viteri (Machete) for the Northern District of Manabi and Jorge Zambrano for the Southern District. Fernando Torres, Raul Auquilla and Johnny Teran (PSC), lead the list of Tungurahua, Loja and Los Rios. Andres Paez (ID) will run for reelection for District 1 (of 4) of Pichincha.
