Ted will not be censored in Brazil
Jose Eduardo Cardoso, the minister of Justice of Brazil, assured today that the Government will not censor in any way the film “Ted”, despite the demonstrations in the country for a teddy bear that smokes marihuana and drinks beers.
“Even if the Brazilian legislation allows the censor, we are totally against it,” stated Cardoso during a press conference. The protests began because in some movie theatres of the country it was restricted for minors of 11-years.
The comedy directed by the North American Seth MacFarlane has as protagonists Mark Whalberg and Mila Kunis. The movie tells the story of a man who has an old wish come true, that his teddy bear “Ted” comes to life. AV
