Calm Slowly Returns To Cairo After Brutal Demonstrations

This morning the calm returned to the downtown of Cairo after the clash between security forces and demonstrators during dawn. An unidentified spokesmen of the security services informed that the situation is now calm.
According to this source a group of youngsters managed to remove to blocks from the wall that isolated the Parliament and the Ministry Council.
The Ministry of Health informed that at least 12 persons have died and 815 are wounded since the hostilities began last Friday, December 16, in Tahrir Square. (AV)
