At a press conference, Capriles wants each ballot counted again and responsibly asks the CNE to stop the act of proclamation, “if both sides have said they agree in counting the votes again, what’s the rush?” “I tell you the CNE should suspend the proclamation and promise the people who that they will count vote per vote. ”
Capriles warned that if this is not done well, “what they want is to hide the truth.”
Additionally, Capriles warned Maduro that if the proclamation act is carried out, he would be “an illegitimate president,” so he called for a pots and pans protest to express and show the “outrage” of the people if Maduro is proclaimed.
