The Ecuadorian Carlos Sanchez Estacio lost to the Irish Adam Nolan in the 69 kg division for the knockout stage of the London 2012 Olympic boxing.
The three rounds were favorable to the European who overcame with 14 points over the 8 points of the Ecuadorian. The judges gave scores of 6-3, 5-3 and 3-2 to the Irish.
Sanchez is the second Ecuadorian to be removed in boxing, yesterday Marlon Delgado also said goodbye to London in 2012 after being defeated by the Serbian Aleksandar Drenovak in the category of 75 kg.
Next fight
The next boxer to compete will be Carlos Gongora, tomorrow. Gongora will fight against the Azerbaijani Huseyli Vatan, in the debut of light heavyweight (81 kg). (MZ)
