Carlos Slim Will Have An Internet TV Channel

The Mexican telecom entrepreneur Carlos Slim will venture into digital television. Slim wil put on the web his own TV channel and it will be called Ora.tv.
Ora.tv’s content will be available on demand and will produce “a wide range of programs that go beyond traditional formats,” said the website.
Slim’s company, America Movil will finance the network, to be directed by Jon Housman, who was chairman of the journalism of Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation.
Slim is the richest man in the world according to Forbes. Ora.tv will be released this year, but a start date has not been set yet.
