Catholic groups call for suspension of Spanish Nun
The group ‘Defense of the Faith and the Pope’ gathered around 2200 signatures calling for the suspension of the Spanish nun, Sister Forcades, who declared openly disagree with abortion, the morning-after pill and the possibility of marriage Catholic gay and attachment to politics.
The organization sent its request to Archbishop Jose Rodriguez Carballo, of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, Secretary of State of the Holy See, and eight other Catholic Church authorities.
‘Defense of the Faith and the Pope’ indicates that the Spanish nun “has failed repeatedly with the vows of obedience to their lawful pastors”, especially when holding “doctrines contrary to the Divinely Revealed by God to be believed”.
Cardinal Franc Rode, prefect of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, sent in 2009 a letter to the Benedictine monastery of St. Benet of Montserrat, Sister Teresa requiring publicly expressing his devotion to Catholic doctrine .
In response, she said yes respects to the magisterium of the Church, but who has the right to think differently.
