Cevallos Officially Retires from Soccer

Jose Francisco Cevallos, player of Liga de Quito announced his retirement from professional soccer. His last game will be played next Sunday when Liga faces Imbabura. Cevallos leaves the field after a career of 21 years.

During his retirement announcement, his wife Rosita, Edgardo Bauza, Esteban Paz, and Patricio Urrutia his best friend of the game. Cevallos did not made any comments regarding the rumors of he being named the next Minitry of Sports. However he expressed how honored he would be if he had to represent Ecuador.

The official announcement regarding this decision would be made next Wednesday.
