Champions League Closes to its End with Amusing Matches
Yesterday afternoon, AC Milan faced FC Barcelona in a match that ended tied in zero, for the first date of quarterfinals of the Champions League.
The AC Milan had two clear scoring chances in the first minutes of the match, however, it was falling back to Barcelona who managed to control the ball for the rest of the match. In the second half, the Catalans took the lead and came close to winning at minute 88.
The result ended with a historic streat of Barcelona after scoring one goul in 30 consecutive games in the Champions League. The return will be Tuesday April 3 at the Camp Nou.
Moreover, Bayern Munich beat uncomplicated Olympique Marseille, who won by 0-2, leaving Marseille almost qualified to the semifinals of the Champions League. With the win, Bayern Munich is one foot in Champions League semi-final after winning 2-0 at Marseille
Meanwhile, the Apoel was defeated by Real Madrid with two goals from Kaka and one of Benzema. While Benfica was beaten at home to Chelsea 0-1 in Portugal with a goal of Salomon Kalou.
