Isabel Salazar, spokeswoman of the group Citizens’ Initiative 14 million, when referring to changes in the identity card regarding gender instead of sex, said that the Commission of the National Assembly has been deaf to their complaints and proposals, as it´s being legislated by a minority in this case transsexual people.
For Salazar, changes in the identity card are propitiating chaos, because they are attacking the essential identity of the people, leaving people into a state of uncertainty, besides not having a grounded objective.
