The official new year holidays in Venezuela were suspended and the anxiety among supporters of President Hugo Chavez increased, as well as the tension between all Venezuelans, after knowing about the aggravation of the President, who is in La Habana (Cuba), for almost three weeks, where he was operated for a fourth time of a cancer that assails him.
The Venezuelan doctor Jose Marquina, said through his Twitter account, that the Head of State is very ill because of a respiratory failure that continues to deteriorate his renal function, as they informed the international press agencies.
Meanwhile, yesterday the Venezuelan exiles in the United States asked to convene new elections, to appoint the new president, since they consider that the current Vice President Nicolás Maduro cannot constitutionally exercise those functions.
