Chilean Miners Story will be on the Small Screen

Producers Antena 3 (Spanish) and Dynamo Factory (Colombian) are currently making “Los 33 de San José” (San Jose’s 33), a TV movie based in the Chilean Miners story.

The movie has already started its filming, it began 10 days ago in Chile, at the same time the 33 miners were being rescued in Copiapo.

“The idea came out at the moment we heard of the trapped miners, the script writing began the same day. The final script was approved last week,” said one of the members of Antena 3.

At the moment, exterior location scenes are being filmed; next Monday –October 18^th – the filming inside the mine will begin (the shooted mine scenes will be for decoration purposes).

The rescue of the Chilean miners will sure be remembered.
