China and Iran invest in Bolivia

According to a report made by the Bolivian presidency, the government of China provided Bolivia with a credit of $ 80 million to strengthen Bolivia’s state airline, while Iran, granted a loan of $ 200 million for areas such as medicine, pharmacy and telecommunications.
The announcement was made last Saturday by Bolivian President Evo Morales, along with Vice President of the Chinese National People’s Assembly, Chen Zhu, and the first vice president of Iran, Eshaq Yahanguiri, who came to Bolivia to participate in the G77 Summit and China.
Chinese Credit will allow the purchase of four aircraft to strengthen the fleet of the state airline Boliviana de Aviacion (BOA), which will be destined to the air integration in eastern Bolivia.
