Clashes between the regime and the Municipality occurred for the building of bridges

In less than a week there is a new controversy between the Municipality of Guayaquil and the regime.

Last week the governor of Guayas, Rolando Panchana criticized the earthquake drill conducted by the Corporation for Public Safety, which he called it poorly organized.

This time, the Minister of Transport and Public Works, Maria de los Angeles Duarte, and the prefect of Guayas, Jimmy Jairala indicated to Samborondón municipalities, Duale and Guayaquil that they do not have the legal authority nor the money to build two bridges, which were announced last week by the Commonwealth Metropolitan of Guayaquil, which brings together the three cantons.

While the proposal of the mayors Jose Yunez (Samborondon), Pedro Salazar (Duale) and Guayaquil, Jaime Nebot, is to hire the studies for the construction of two bridges linking La Puntilla and La Aurora with the Terminal Terrestre highway – Pascual of Guayaquil, where both viaducts will be in the borders.

Currently there are 15 days for the companies interested in undertaking this work. When the federation awards the contract, the company will have 120 chosen for the studies.

While yesterday, another confrontation occurred in the grounds of the City Hall, where a group of protesters disguised with masks and classic shirts, mimicking the Mayor Nebot, danced rejecting what they called “the policy of the club,” for which they were repressed by metropolitan police and municipal employees.
