Cambio Climático en Quito ayuda a combatir incendios.

Quito dawned today with an overcast sky after the slight rainfall of last Monday. This slight change in the Capital’s temperature, brings moisture as part of a normal process in this seasonal time.

Carlos Naranjo, director of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMHI for its Spanish acronym) said the intensity of winds will also decrease.

These facts promise the final extinction of forest fires, currently present in nine provinces declared on orange alert. (MZ)
