Case Glas Viejo goes to Court
Over 20 police officers were posted in the second floor of the Guayaquil Justice Court to guard the entrance to the hearing against Jorge Heriberto Glas Viejo, who is being charged for raping a 13-year-old minor.
According to the media present, the officers said, “we had the disposition to not allow the entrance to the media and other attorneys,” however they did not revealed who gave that order.
Cesar Neira Villegas, prosecutor, pointed out that, “any hearing is public. Why not let us in? It is a reprehensible attitude.” AV
