CNE begins campaign on districts awareness
This week begins a campaign of information made by the National Electoral Council (CNE) to grant knowledge on the new electoral constituencies, to both political organizations and citizens.
CNE Vice President, Paul Salazar, plans to work first with the political leaders on the thirteen cities of the ten provinces, where the district division were carried out, and then continue with the mass media campaign aimed at voters.
According to the division established by the CNE, the cities of Guayaquil and Quito will own three constituencies each, while Milagro, Duran, Esmeraldas, Machala, Quevedo, Portoviejo, Manta, Santo Domingo, Loja, Riobamba and Cuenca will have two.
In addition, the CNE reported that campaigns on address change will continue until August 28, which is why they have set several mobile sites in each province to perform that procedure.

Political leaders from the thirteen cities with district division, will be informed of the procedures they have to carry out for the next Sectional Elections of February, 2014.
