CNE Has Managed a “disastrous” Electoral Process

Posted On 07 May 2011

The leader of the Concertación Nacional group, César Montufar, said today he was concerned because the National Electoral Council (CNE) has managed the electoral process in a “disastrous” way.

“We authorized (on behalf of the CNE) there is only one exit poll of the polling of the Government, that is why we are concerned, but we hope to have a result that allows us to accept with confidence that they reflect the Ecuadorian people” Montufar said.

Concertación Nacional, an organization that promoted the No option in the referendum, will be aware of the election, for that an information center has been installed in the Dann Carlton Hotel (north of Quito), where the results of the votes will also be received.Source: Diario El Universo
