Obama Congratulates the Commands That Killed Bin Laden

President Barack Obama congratulated the commands that killed Osama bin Laden on Friday and vowed to “crush al Qaeda” terrorist network, which confirmed the death of their leader in a public statement; they said that Bin Laden’s blood was not “shed on vain and it will be a curse to Americans and their agents who pursue them inside and outside their country.” 

Obama traveled to Fort Campbell, Kentucky to personally congratulate the SEAL Team 6, for “a well done job.” Also during his visit, he spoke to soldiers recently arrived from Afghanistan.

The President gave the team of SEALs, the special operations group that struck the leader of Al Qaeda on Sunday, the Presidential Unit Citation, the highest honor that a full military unit can receive.

“We cut the head of Al Qaeda and we will end up beating it completely,” said Obama. “We will succeed in this mission, ” he reiterated.
