Coast regime starts today the school year

The academic year 2014-2015 is officially started on the coast. High school students will be the first to attend, because the entry of students will be staggered by level. The President, Rafael Correa, and the Minister of Education, Augusto Espinosa, will inaugurate the academic year at the Millennium Replica Manta School, in Manabi at 09:15.
Until yesterday morning, dozens of workers were preparing the last details in educational centres, managed by the Ministry of Education. Installing furniture, ceilings, crossing cables for electrical installations, among other activities.
Only high school students will go today to classes; since tomorrow, eighth, ninth and tenth grades. On Wednesday fifth, sixth and seventh grades shall start classes, on Thursday, second, third and fourth grades. On Friday, first grade.
Students will also enjoy discounts at the metrovia.The student rate applies a tariff of $0.12 for the students up to 18 years. The Metrovia Foundation brigades will also go to schools to issue cards for students.
On the other hand, in eleven educational camps installed in the sector of Mount Sinai, in the Northwest of the city, the Ministry of education will implement a free school bus service. There will be about 80 units.
