Coffee and Cocoa Summit generated contracts for $ 21.18 million

The Third World Cocoa Summit ended with sales of $ 21.18 million for local companies, contrary to 2014, that left $ 14.5 million. With a 46.07% more in sales closings compared to the 2014 edition, the business conference Aromas del Ecuador ended yesterday, which was developed within the Summit, held in Guayaquil, reported Maria Gabriela Romero, director of export promotions for Pro-Ecuador.
According to official figures, sales of cocoa and processed products reached 77% of the overall total of the conference, while coffee reached 23%.
