Cold Wave Gradually Abandons Europe

The cold wave in Europe is changing with a flow now moving up and north of the UK, into northern Scandinavia while dropping in the southeastern region.
The Siberian cold air is bringing fresh snow from southern Scandinavia, Germany, Poland and event the Alps, along with the Balkan Peninsula, Bulgaria and Rumania and through Ukraine. This phenomenon has left a death toll of more than 500 casualties.
Recently Eastern Europe is seeing a dramatic warming due to the involvement of the Atlantic weather. These warming episodes can cause major travel problems, roads and pavements can become extremely slick. (AV)
