Comex postpones for one year remaining dismantling of safeguards
The Committee of Foreign Trade (COMEX) decided Friday to defer for one year compliance schedule for dismantling safeguard surtaxes of 40%, 25% and 15%.
This was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
“The progressive dismantling of the three existing surtaxes (40%, 25% and 15%) scheduled for April, May and June 2016 will be paid in the same months of 2017,” the ministry said State
