Communications Bill is about to be voted
According to Alianza PAIS (AP) Assemblymen who requested anonymity, the final text on the draft of Communications Bill was revised yesterday during a meeting in the Presidency of the Republic, held in the morning.
The assemblymen revealed that among those who attended the meeting were: Gabriela Rivadeneira, president of the Assembly; Mauro Andino, rapporteur of the bill, and Alexis Mera, legal secretary of the Presidency, and considered the possibility that the final text to be voted in the Plenary on next Friday.

Mauro Andino, rapporteur of the Communications Bill, is the only one that can make modifications on it.
The Organic Law of the Legislative Function provides, in Article 129, that a plenary agenda must be foretold at least 48 hours in advance (in this case, the vote on the draft).
However, the official movement is based on the suggestion of the former president of the Assembly, Fernando Cordero, who said that the draft Communication is part of a session (No. 136), which was suspended, so it could be resumed at any time.
AP Assemblyman Angel Vilema, said the ruling bloc will meet to discuss the final draft and make final observations.
