Comptroller initiated special examination of presidential aircraft

The Office of the Comptroller General of the State began a special examination for the use of the presidential plane, said a statement released on Tuesday, July 24.
The special examination began on Monday, July 23 and will have a duration of 90 working days. Comptroller will review the use of the ship in the period between January 1, 2012 and May 24, 2017.
The process will be in charge of the National Directorate of Central Administration Audit. The control action is part of the Annual Control Plan 2018 that was approved by the Comptroller General, Pablo Celi.
Among the inspections it is estimated to review the total of national and international trips, the dates in which they were made and the destinations to which they arrived. As well as the crew, the personnel that accompanied in the trips, costs for the flights, etc. (I)
