Concludes oversight for judicial reform
Both the Council of Citizen Participation and the Transitional Council of the Judiciary did not collaborate with the delivery of information related to the executed budget for contracting staff and works, so it was revealed during the fourth report of the international oversight reform to justice, chaired by Spanish Baltasar Garzon.
The report also provides comments to the Judicial Council, the Ministries of Justice and Interior, the Prosecutor’s Office, the Ombudsman and prisons, and even is being discussed that in the new model would have been ideal to mix youth with experience.
The presentation, made to officers and servants of the councils mentioned, did not touch the subject of the final choice of the Judicial Council, as Garzon said he could not make any statement before January 26, 2013, a date which terminates a deadline of 18 months granted by the referendum to undertake judicial reform.
