“I know there is not a parent in America who doesn’t feel the same overwhelmed and grief that I do,” said Barack Obama with tears

Yesterday a heavily armed man shot at a school of the American people of Newtown, Connecticut, his actions claimed the lives of 26 people including 20 children. The State Police Lt. Paul Vance told the media that the attacker was found dead in Sandy Hook Elementary School.

“Our hearts are broken today,” said President Barack Obama during an emotional speech on television. While Dannel Malloy, Governor of Connecticut, said “Evil visited this community today.”

Police identified the attacker as Adam Lanza, 24. According to The New York Times, Lanza entered the room where his mother was teaching and shot her, and then shot 20 students, mostly in the same room, before killing five other people and then committing suicide. Lanza had four guns and a bulletproof vest.

Touching testimonies of children reveal the magnitude of the tragedy. A little 9 year reported that out of school, “the police told us to close our eyes.” While Vannesa Bajraliu, a girl of nine years added more details to the “The police told us embrace each other, grab our hands and close our eyes. Opening only after leaving school.”

The police have in custody Ryan Lanza for investigations of case.
