Correa Acknowledge His Signature In Sue against El Universo

Today the Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa recognized in 15^th Criminal Court of Guayas his signature on the complaint against newspaper El Universo, its directors and writer Emilio Palacio.

After fifteen minutes of diligence, the President said the process can be stopped “if they recognize their mistake, they tell it to their audience, and pledge to stop these abuses,” referring to the Palacio’s article called “No to Lies,” released on February 6 by this journalist.

This editorial, which is why the lawsuit was filed, shows the intention to pardon the officer involved in the uprising of September 30^th.
