Recent investigations regarding the popularity of the president Rafael Correa (Alianza Pais) and pre presidential candidate Alvaro Noboa (PRIAN) suggested that if the elections were today they could go for a second round in the electoral polls. Correa has a 33% while Noboa has 21% of popularity.
These results were obtained after a study made by the company ‘Consultar’, their study also revealed that a 27% “does not know” for whom to vote. In a recent press conference, Alvaro Noboa talked about the scandal of the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym), which involved the forgery of signatures in order to incorporate voters to several political parties.
Shortly after the press conference, Correa made a rude Twitt against the pre presidential, “Claiming that he should first pay his taxes and afterwards insulted his intelligence.”
Alvaro Noboa, remained true to his believes and manners, he did not answer the ill comments made by Correa, nor he pretends to make a statement about it. AV
