Correa calls the dialogue of Moreno and the CONAIE a “disloyal and mediocre snub”
Ecuadornews:
Former President Rafael Correa has questioned through his Twitter account the dialogue between his successor President Lenin Moreno and the leaders of the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities (CONAIE). Moreno offered to lease the CONAIE two buildings where its headquarters operate for a hundred years, and whose right of use was reversed by Correa during his government.
Correa, who also reacted 24 hours after the sentence of the judge who declared journalist Martin Pallares innocent in the process filed by him for damage to his honor, has disqualified the delivery of the headquarters to the CONAIE as an “unnecessary snub” to his government due to disagreements with the indigenous group.
And he added that an alleged strategy of the government of Moreno to differentiate itself from his, “is not only disloyal but also mediocre.” (I)
