Correa minimized student´s enrollment problem on the coast
President Rafael Correa yesterday simplified the problems that occur in student´s enrollment to the educational system in the coast regime. This in relation to begining of the school year in the region.
`We’ve had problems with inscriptions … It have been already registered approximately 330,000 students for the Coast cycle, who suddenly wanted to enter to the public system,´ said Correa during his agenda in Guayaquil.
Correa described as `impressive´ the increase for public education demand, because, according to him, `things have been handled pretty well.´
`We have about 2.3 million students enrolled. Maybe there is 2,000 unhappy people, that’s less than 1 per 1,000. Or, if you want to see it otherwise, is 0.1%, less than one percent,´he added.
