Correa travels to Brazil on Tuesday
President Rafael Correa will travel to Brazil on Tuesday to attend the meeting of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC for its Spanish acronym) and meet with former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, according to diplomatic sources.
During his visit he will be presented at the University of Sao Paulo to give a lecture and take the opportunity to visit a technological field and collect experiences for Yachay University.
In addition, he will visit the Brazilian government social programs. “We will see all the experiences as the ‘Zero Hunger‘program, the fight against malnutrition, poverty and especially the single database for all the social programs Brazil has”.
On Wednesday, several representatives will attend to the summit of China and Latin America. The next day, the President will participate in the Quartet meeting of the CELAC (Cuba, Ecuador, Costa Rica and St. Vincent and the Grenadines).
