Council for Higher Education establishes costs rules for public universities

Senior students will be only charged once eat the beginning of an academic term, this value corresponds to administrative and general services and “shall not exceed the 10%” of the total value of the tariff, according to the Regulation of Free Superior Public Education released yesterday by the Higher Education Council (CES for its Spanish acronym).
Furthermore, according to Article 10, charges for degree rights or obtaining, issuing and registration of the diploma are prohibited; for approval of the unit of degree, sustaining, qualification and thesis approval.
Any exams of any kind or proficiency tests of foreign language will be charged neither.
