CPC will discuss today the report of the international oversight
After thirteen days since the international oversight of the Justice Reform presented its final report, the Council of Citizen Participation and Social Control (CPC) has decided today to hold a debate on the report.
The international judge Baltasar Garzon said the report officially presented on December 13 and explained the observations made during a period of thirteen months, the time that took to monitor the judicial reform process. Garzon said that the day the consult was approved the judicial reform on May 2011, that the Judicial Council of Transition (CJT) gave no information on the recruitment process and that the information provided in relation to investments goes back to July 2012.
Garzon said that the data received would indicate that the CJT 70% or 80% of budget performance, but that information is not in the hands of the oversight.
