Cristiano Ronaldo wins second Ballon d’Or

Portuguese player of Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo, was proclaimed today as the winner of the Ballon d’Or 2013 awarded by FIFA and France Fotball, at the gala in Zurich.
Beating Leonel Messi (FC Barcelona) and Frank Ribery (Bayern Munich), Ronaldo won his second award after a lot of controversy due to a difficult vote.
Madrid star received his first Ballon d’Or in 2008 and placed second in the last four editions, won by Argentine Leonel Messi.
Cristiano wins this award with 69 goals to his credit and being the fittest player who has completed the season, even with the disadvantage of not having achieved any title during the last season.
