Cubans Will Be Allowed to Go on Tourist Trips

After 50 years of prohibition, a reform plan released Monday by the authorities indicates that the Cuban government allowed its citizens to make sightseeing trips abroad but gave no details on the requirements for approval. 

In addition, the Cuban government has reported that it “will examine provisions that allow Cubans to travel abroad as tourists,” as indicated by one of the 313 economic measures adopted by the Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba.
