“Cumbia Papal” a total success in Youtube [Video]

Cumbia Papal
Just a few hours after being released, the video for the song “Cumbia Papal”, dedicated to Pope Francisco has became a social success with more than one million five hundred thousand views on YouTube.
This popular song was presented last Sunday during an Argentine TV show called “Sin codificar”, and mocks the historic rivalry between Brazilians, particularly in soccer.
The humorous tone is noticed from the beginning, as the band “Los Cardenales” (The Cardinals) is formed by false priests dressed as cardinals who supposedly were present at the conclave that appointed the Argentine Jorge Bergoglio as Pope.
“It’s a cumbia to acknowledge defeat; (Bergoglio) beat us fare and square, if not this World cup, will be the next one. We must recognize that he did a better work than we did. We dedicate it to Francisco” explained lead singer of the band
