Daniel Noboa and Verónica Abad receive their credentials

The presentation of credentials of  Daniel Noboa Azín  as president of  Ecuador  and  Verónica Abad Roja , as vice president, took place on the morning of November 15, 2023 at the  Sucre National Theater , in the  Historic Center of Quito .

After 10:00, Noboa  entered the  Theater  and received widespread applause from attendees such as the authorities of the  National Electoral Council  ( CNE ), the Contentious Electoral Tribunal, prefectures, indigenous nationalities, diplomatic corps, and more. The president-elect thanked the people who accompanied him during the election campaign. “Also to my father who for 25 years paved the way for me to be here.”

He indicated that his campaign was characterized by showing proposals to generate employment, health and education. He did not rely on the “anti” because they have their ceiling and only promote disunity among Ecuadorian citizens.

Personnel from the  National Police  and the  Armed Forces  took care of the security operation. Members of these entities were placed in strategic locations. The idea is to have balance between the Executive and the Legislative, something that their predecessors did not have.

Noboa said that he will tolerate those who obstruct the work of the president of  Ecuador  by violating the Constitution. The only goal and reason will be the progress of Ecuadorians.
