Daniela Romo Celebrates her 40 -Year Career with New Album
Mexican singer and actress Daniela Romo celebrated her 40-year career in the best way: releasing her new album “Para Soñar”.
After overcoming a tough year because of her fight against breast cancer, the iconic Mexican artist Daniela Romo returns with her new album convinced that “things always happen when they have to happen.”
“(…). To me this is like a crowning, a prize, a joy, because it’s what I’ve done all my life,” said the artist during a press conference in Mexico City.
“Para Soñar” is a review of Romo’s career through 25 songs such as Yo no te pido la luna”, “De mí enamórate”, “Mentiras”, among others. This material also presents duets with artists such as Armando Manzanero, Gloria Trevi and Francisco Cespedes.
“Right now for me is very satisfying and fulfills me, not only as an artist but as a person, as a woman that can go back and revisit these themes (…),” she added.
In late 2011, Romo was diagnosed with breast cancer and, after having a surgery and overcome the disease, she has been dedicated to work hard supporting causes to prevent the disease.
